Club Workshop -
- Chair / Lead - David Aldous
In this evening workshop we want to cover some of the following areas:
· What Navigation systems do people actually have?
· Why did they choose a particular set up?
· How do people use them and why?
· Are these systems stand alone? What are the advantages/disadvantages of integrating them?
· Share experience on installation issues.
· Is there any downside to using electronic Navigation systems?
Some of our members are experienced with a variety of different systems and equipment, which we hope they will share with us. Others are still to take the plunge.
We would like to get a few experienced users around the tables to talk this topic through, and answer general subject questions. Equally we will try to break out into groups to provide help on technical issues, such as loading software, or changing settings.
This will be a challenging topic to provide on Zoom, so we hope to see as many of you at the clubhouse as possible.
Due to a member requesting it, we will be trialling this on Zoom, but recognise that participants on Zoom will not necessarily be able to see, hear, or participate fully. The workshop format does not lend itself to remote participation!
- Organiser: Jan Baynham
- This Workshop will be in the Clubhouse and on Zoom
To keep members and the speaker safe, if you think you may be suffering or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay safe indoors at home. Symptoms for the Delta variant are different to the original variant, and the most common COVID-19 symptoms are now : headache, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever and cough. Loss of smell is no longer so common. Additionally, if you have a positive lateral flow test result that should be taken as a good indication that you have COVID.
