- Dinner will be in the Dining Room of The King & Queen Pub, on the left hand side of the High Street leading down to the water's edge. Dinner at 1900.
- In case of inclement weather at that time of the year, I suggest that we meet at Banana Wharf on the Port Hamble hard for pre-dinner drinks from 1800.

- Other information: There is a pleasant walk down the Hamble peninsula to see the shingle bank at low water, and then along Southampton Water and back across to the Marina; or coffee and cake is available both in the village and at the beach-front Beach Hut café, with a riverside view.
- There is a wide selection of good pubs for a beer or wine.
- Not forgetting the village Co-Op for papers on a Sunday morning!
