Workshop - Pre-Passage & Pilotage Planning. Can Technology help?

A Workshop open to all Club members.

I reckon we all do Navigation Planning differently! Instinctive for some, formal for others, some in the head, some on paper, partly depending on experience and destination. But just how much do we plan, do we have a structure to it, and can technology play a helpful part? Let’s see what we can learn from each other around a table.

We will start with a discussion on the priorities and elements to consider, and manual methods. Then I understand that we will be able to see how Navionics, Navman and Memory Map programmes/ applications can contribute to Passage Planning and Pilotage ......

For this workshop we will have the projector screen and the new projector available, so please can members bring along any laptops or mobile devices that they might use in Navigation Planning, and we can probably link it up (via a cable or Bluetooth) to the Projector, and Members will be able to see at first hand how Technology can help.
